Brief Biography:

I am a graduate of the University of Hong Kong with the degree of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in 1976. In furtherance of studies at the University, I was subsequently awarded the Master of Laws (LL.M) in 1990. I also hold the MBA of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (awarded in 1983) and Doctor of Civil Law of the Remin University of China (awarded in 2001). I am a Notary Public and China-Appointed Attesting Officer.

I have been working as solicitor for the past 25 years, initially as an assistant solicitor and then as a partner and later, as senior partner of my own firm. Since April 2007, I ceased the practice of my own law firm and worked as consultant solicitor in a law firm, which allows me "breathing space" to devote more time to serve our fellow alumni and other meaningful endeavours.

Currently, I am Hon. Legal Advisor of Hong Kong University Graduates Association ("HKUGA") and Hong Kong University Students Union. I am a life member of both the Hong Kong University Alumni Association and HKUGA.
